Grand Teton and Yellowstone   September/2008

Instead of flying directly to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and run the risk of missing photo equipments during flight transfer, I decided to join some of the tour members originated from Denver Colorado and headed north in a mini-van for 9 hours of driving.  Driving 9 hours on the Interstate sounds and long and boring but it actually not too bad. We made multiple stops along the way to stretch, visit the cans and buy munches.   Along the way we saw groups and groups of Pronghorns mixed together with the domestic animals (cows and horses). This way I can say I have visited Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, all three states in one trip!

Again, the trip was leaded by Russell Burden the same professional photographer who leaded my White Sand and Bosque trip in New Mexico 2007.  Russ certainly worked hard for his tours. Just having him drove the team around all day long looking for the perfect images is well worth the money – Thanks Russ!

The images you are going to see here you may have seen it hundred times in magazines, TV or books. Well, it is my first time. I love it and enjoyed the trip very much.  If you must go visit the same place in the future, don’t leave home without your camera, the cell phone camera just won’t cut it.

Here it is, the Grand Teton and Yellowstone Park.
