China – Beijing, Jinshanling(The Great Wall), Guilin, Shanghai and Huangshan

This trip was organized by StraboTour  prepared mostly for nature and landscape photographers. The tour was leaded by Katherine Feng. Katherine’s simple biography is available at Strabo website. It is extremely helpful when you have a tour leader knew the location well so that you can get to the location the right place at the right time before anybody else took the spot. It is especially true at the Great Wall and Huangshan(Yellow Mountain). If you are a minute late, you are screw, better get up earlier next day and good luck with the weather.

This tour ran into Chinese National Holiday on purpose so that you will see the Chinese population get out and celebrate their national day and because of the national holiday, certain buildings will be decorated and lighted up at night (Tiananmen Square, The National Theatre -The Egg and the back of the Forbidden City in Beijing etc.) which would not happen on ordinary day.

This was a three weeks tour and I shot over 130GB of RAW images. So if you sign up for this tour you better have a good Hard Drive to back up you pictures. Too many images to process were just about the only complain I have with this tour.

I have selected a few to put onto this site. So, tour with me and thank you for your visit.
